YouTube TV subscribers who also subscribe to Max recently gained access to two new channels – B/R Sports and CNN Max.
These channels have been available on the Max standalone streaming service since fall 2024, but are now integrated into the YouTube TV channel guide for Max subscribers.
B/R Sports is part of a new sports add-on package on Max that launched on October 5, 2023. It is currently available for free to all Max customers through February 29, 2024, as a trial period.
After that, the sports add-on will cost $9.99 per month. This additional sports content will be available to subscribers on all Max pricing tiers.
CNN Max is a 24/7 feed featuring both new and existing CNN programming tailored specifically for the Max service. It includes shows hosted by popular CNN anchors such as Jim Acosta, Jim Sciutto, and Anderson Cooper. CNN Max allows Max subscribers to access curated CNN content all in one place.
The addition of these channels to the YouTube TV guide for Max subscribers reflects YouTube TV’s growing ambition to serve as a centralized home not just for live television, but for other streaming services its users subscribe to as well.
By integrating content from services like Max, YouTube TV is aiming to provide a seamless viewing experience across different streaming platforms.
